Craig Swink is a clarinetist and educator based in New York. Originally from Maryland, he earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan in 2023 and continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, where he completed an Artist Diploma. His primary teachers include Daniel Gilbert and Joaquin Valdepeñas.

Craig currently performs as a member of The Orchestra Now (TON) at Bard College, a graduate fellowship orchestra dedicated to pairing high-level performance with audience engagement and education through innovative concert formats. He has appeared at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Fisher Center at Bard, and Koerner Hall in Toronto. In February 2024, he was selected as the winner of a clarinet audition for the United States Marine Band.

An active chamber musician, Craig is particularly interested in collaborative performance and has participated in a range of chamber music projects throughout his training. He was a full-tuition scholarship recipient at the National Orchestral Institute at the University of Maryland and served as a clarinet mentor at the 2024 National Seminario at the Ravinia Festival.

In addition to his orchestral and chamber work, Craig is an active freelancer and maintains a private studio, teaching both clarinet and piano.
